Eddie Jones

Lead Vocals
12 String acoustic guitar
Line 6 Variax 300 custom Telecaster
Harmonica
Bass Guitar

Ed joined the band a few years ago and brought a wealth of experience to the team.
His voice is versatile and can adapt to suit the different nuances that the Eagles members have in their vocal technique.
Examples are Somebody (Glenn Frey) Rocky Mountain Way (Joe Walsh) and the soft vocals on Peaceful Easy Feeling completely different styles handled by Mr Jones.

His vocals always seem effortless and ‘silky’.
Ed has played for many years with various bands and still has his own band that plays select venues in and around Edinburgh where he is known to known to the squad as ‘Corporal Jones’ but no need to panic!

Ed can easily swap from strumming rhythm guitar to playing intricate parts such as ‘Life in the Fast Lane’ and ‘One of These Nights’ then switching to Bass for ‘Hotel California’.

Ed writes his own material some of which has been featured on David Paton’s album ‘David Paton and Friend’s’
He also has a long standing friendship with Kenny Archibald and Davie Moss and the guys are still playing together after 25 plus years; a testament to their friendship and the pleasure they get out of making music together.

Ed has also brought his creative sense of humour with him, which has led to many hilarious moments at rehearsals-Don’t mention chocolate éclairs to him!
